Description
Apple 35W power adapter with two USB-C ports
With the Apple 35W Dual USB-C power adapter you charge two devices at the same time from one wall socket, for example your iPhone and iPad, or your iPhone and MacBook Air. According to Apple, the total output of 35W is automatically shared between the two ports, based on what each device needs.
Handy on your desk, in your travel bag or on the bedside table: you no longer need two separate chargers. If you only use one port, that device gets the full power. The adapter works with iPhone, iPad, AirPods, Apple Watch and Mac laptops, as well as other USB-C devices.

How the power is shared
When you connect two devices, the adapter shares the 35W automatically. According to Apple, a Mac and an iPhone, for example, each get up to 17.5W. With a Mac or iPhone together with an Apple Watch or AirPods, up to 27.5W goes to the Mac or iPhone and 7.5W to the smaller device.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Apple 35W adapter come with a cable?
No, just the adapter. Use your own USB-C cable or USB-C to Lightning cable.
Can I charge my MacBook Air with it?
Yes, a MacBook Air charges well at 35W. If you charge a second device at the same time, the power is shared and charging takes a little longer.
Does fast charging work on my iPhone?
Yes, iPhones that support fast charging charge quickly via USB-C, even when the power is shared across two ports.
