Dyson Airstrait: the straightener that dries and styles your hair in one step
The Dyson Airstrait is a wet-to-dry hair straightener that uses a focused airflow to dry and straighten your hair at the same time, without hot plates. Use it directly on towel-dried hair, or on dry hair for a touch-up. It runs at 1,600 W with an airflow of 11.9 l/s and three heat settings: 80, 110 and 140 °C.
Normally you blow-dry your hair first and then reach for the straightener. The Airstrait combines those two steps: slowly glide it through a section of wet hair and the airflow from both arms dries and straightens it at the same time. According to Dyson, glass bead thermistors measure the airflow temperature up to 16 times per second. Choose from three colours: Nickel/Copper, Prussian Blue/Copper and Ceramic Pink/Rose Gold.
