The Oakley EV Zero Edge in Fathom is a lightweight men's sneaker for men who are on the move all day and want a shoe that breathes yet still gives support. The knit upper with TPU overlays helps regulate moisture, while the EVZero midsole and outsole provide cushioning with every step.
Fathom is the navy blue version of the EV Zero Edge: calmer than Enamel Purple, a little less severe than Jet Black. That makes it just as easy to wear at work with chinos as at the weekend with joggers. The high-contrast Ellipse logo on the tongue and side nods to Oakley's heritage. Is the EV Zero Edge Fathom suitable for rainy weather?
Oakley gives the knit upper a water-repellent DWR finish that keeps out moisture in light rain. It is still a breathable knit sneaker, so puddles or prolonged rain can let moisture through. It is fine for a wet cycle to work, less so for hiking through wet woods.

How does the EV Zero Edge differ from the EV Zero Pattern?
Both have an EVZero midsole, CellFit insole and DWR finish. According to Oakley, the main difference is the upper: the Edge has a knit of 80% polyester and 20% TPU, the Pattern 65% polyester and 35% TPU. The pattern and profile of the shoe are also designed differently.
