The Oakley Carbon sneaker in Shadow is a men's trainer with a top-grain nubuck leather upper and the cushioning of Oakley's EVZero technology. It is made for anyone who wants a leather sneaker with the lightness of a sports shoe, for everyday wear and light active work.
The nubuck leather is perforated for better ventilation, and the CellFit insole also has a nubuck top layer. The EVZero midsole is made from Oakley's own EVA foam formula, and the outsole is EVA with rubber inserts. Fit and size
The Carbon Shadow is available in EU 40 (US 7) and EU 45 (US 11). Oakley uses US men's sizes; each variant shows the EU size alongside the US size. Nubuck leather moulds slightly to your foot after a few wears. Measure your foot length and compare it with the size chart on oakley.com, or email us with your usual size.

How do I care for the nubuck Oakley Carbon?
Regularly brush the nubuck dry with a special nubuck or suede brush so the fibres stand up nicely. Remove stains carefully with a nubuck eraser. A nubuck or suede spray helps protect against moisture and dirt, on top of Oakley's DWR finish. Never soak nubuck and never dry it on a radiator.
What is the difference between the Oakley Carbon and the EV Zero sneakers?
Both use the EVZero midsole and a CellFit insole. The difference is in the upper: the Carbon has perforated nubuck leather, which looks sturdier and a little smarter, while the EV Zero Edge and EV Zero Pattern have a light, breathable knit of polyester with TPU. Choose the Carbon for a leather look.
What colour is Oakley Shadow?
Shadow is a dark colourway. On the Carbon, the nubuck leather comes in this shade, with an embossed Ellipse logo on the side. It is a calm colour that pairs well with jeans, black trousers and dark jackets, and dirt shows less quickly than on a light sneaker.
