Description
Porcelain chopping board, hygienic and dishwasher safe
This porcelain chopping board from ZenXstore measures 35 x 25 x 1.8 cm and is made of white porcelain (dense ceramic). The surface is hygienic and non-porous: the board does not absorb odours, colours or juices and can go in the dishwasher. Use it as a chopping board for vegetables, bread and cheese, and as a stylish serving board at the table.
Wooden and plastic chopping boards can discolour over time and hold on to the smell of onion or garlic. A ceramic chopping board doesn't have that problem. Every board has its own natural look, so no two are exactly alike. At 2.5 kg, the board sits firmly on the worktop.

Care
Rinse the board after use or put it in the dishwasher. Don't drop it on a hard floor and avoid sudden temperature changes, such as placing a hot pan directly on the cold board. For heavy chopping and cutting, a wooden board is kinder to your knives.

Frequently asked questions
Will a porcelain chopping board blunt my knives?
A hard ceramic surface can dull the blade faster than wood. So use the board mainly for light cutting tasks and as a serving board.
Can the porcelain chopping board go in the dishwasher?
Yes, the board is dishwasher safe.
Does the chopping board absorb odours or colours?
No, the non-porous porcelain does not absorb odours, colours or juices, for example from onion, garlic or beetroot.
Is the chopping board unbreakable?
No. Like other porcelain, the board can break if it falls on a hard floor. Treat it like your crockery.
