This solid rubber tyre for the Xiaomi M365 and M365 Pro is a solid 8.5 inch outer tyre without an inner tube. There is no air inside, which greatly reduces the risk of punctures. The tyre weighs about 500 grams, has an inner diameter of 138 mm and an outer diameter of 205 mm, and a tread that channels away water and snow.
A flat tyre is the most common fault on the M365. With a solid tyre you are done with patching, pumping and replacing inner tubes. Holes in the sidewall make the tyre lighter and add a little extra cushioning. Bear in mind that a solid rubber tyre rides slightly harder than a pneumatic tyre.

How to fit a solid rubber tyre
- Remove the wheel from the scooter and take off the old tyre and inner tube.
- Place the solid tyre in hot water for a few minutes so the rubber becomes more flexible.
- Coat the inside with a little petroleum jelly or washing-up liquid.
- Push the tyre over the rim; a tyre lever from a bike repair kit helps.
Fitting a solid tyre takes some force. A bike shop or scooter workshop can also do it for you.
