The WMF Basic collection consists of water carafes with the practical flip-top closure from the creative agency Köhler & Wilms. The tilting mechanism opens and closes automatically during pouring, and an integrated strainer prevents ice cubes and pieces of fruit from forming. The carafes are available in various sizes (this is the 1.5-liter version) and are dishwasher-safe.

The ingenious flap closure is made of Cromargan©18/10 and not only looks good, but also has a mechanism that automatically opens the carafe when you pour and closes it when you put it down.
The elegant and practical lid, made of silicone and Cromargan©18/10 stainless steel, can be completely disassembled for cleaning and is just as easy to reassemble.
This ensures the carafe's contents stay tasty and fresh. The harmoniously integrated strainer in the lid ensures that ice cubes or lemon slices stay safely inside the carafe, even during pouring.
