ZenX SJT-300E fast charger 54.6V 5A for 48V batteries
The ZenX SJT-300E fast charger charges 48V lithium-ion batteries of e-bikes, fat bikes and e-scooters at 54.6V and 5A. Because a standard charger usually delivers 2A, this fast charger gets your battery full again in considerably less time. Ideal if you ride long distances every day, want to top up your fat bike quickly between two rides, or want a second charger for work. The charger is suitable for the OUXI V8 and V20, among others.
The SJT-300E is available with a round XLR 3-pin plug (GX16, 1+3 pins) or with a 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC plug; you choose when ordering. Safety: only use this charger for 48V batteries with a charging voltage of 54.6V. Never charge a 36V or 52V battery with this charger, check that your battery can take a 5A charging current, and preferably charge in a dry, cool place and not unattended.

Frequently asked questions
How much faster does a 5A charger charge than a 2A charger?
The charging time depends mainly on the capacity of your battery. Roughly, you divide the capacity in Ah by the charging current: an empty 15Ah battery needs a good seven hours at 2A and about three hours at 5A, plus a little extra time at the end of charging. So with 5A you're done roughly twice as fast.
Is fast charging bad for my battery?
For most 48V e-bike batteries with a capacity of about 10Ah or more, 5A is a normal charging current. For small batteries, or batteries for which the manufacturer specifies a lower maximum charging current, a slower charger is the better choice. If in doubt, check the manual of your bike or battery.
Will this charger fit my OUXI V8?
Yes, the OUXI V8 and V20 are 48V fat bikes and this charger delivers the correct charging voltage of 54.6V. Do choose the plug that fits your charging port. Not sure which version you need? Send us a photo of your battery's charging port.
How do I know if my battery is 48V?
Check the label on your battery or your current charger. If the battery says 48V, or your charger shows an output voltage of 54.6V, this fast charger matches in terms of voltage. If it says 36V, 42V, 52V or 58.8V, this charger is not suitable.
